About the name
Yıldız is the star — the everyday word, used unchanged. Yıldız Sarayı, Star Palace, was the last residence of the Ottoman sultans, so the word carries a faint imperial echo alongside the plain celestial one.
It reads as a generation older in Turkey than Deniz or Irmak, closer to how Gloria or Doreen sits in English, which is exactly the position names occupy shortly before they come back.
Said yul-DUZ; the Turkish ı is a vowel English lacks, and the spelling here drops the dotless form for searchability. Two syllables ending hard. On our vibe map it is Celestial, with Cultural Fusion held behind a real aesthetic primary.
